About

Working across several mediums, with video and fibers at the center, Maria’s artistic process cannot be put into a box. She is interested in abstraction, play, and collage, drawing from shapes, colors, and ideas she encounters throughout her days.

Currently, Maria puts her creative talents and museum experience to use at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is the Digital Content Coordinator. She was a 2024 Blackstar Film Festival Screening Intern.

Maria received a BA in Art History from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, where she spent most of her time at the Tang Teaching Museum in various roles, most notably as the Meg Reitman Jacob ’63 Endowed Intern.
